Are the ATV trails still open? Will they be re-opening?
Unfortunately the answer to both of these questions is no. We closed the trails in September 2009 due to lack of business. At this point, the land is owned by the drag strip and we are no longer leasing it. We have no plans on re-opening any Trail system here at VMP.
Do you rent ATVs or dirtbikes?
No, we closed our rental program in 2009 also.
Do you allow overnight camping?
Sometimes. For weekend events and races, we do allow overnight camping without hook-ups. We do have water/sewage on site. On typical practice weekends we do not allow overnight camping. HOWEVER, if you have a large group that wants to come down and camp one weekend for practice, please call us. We will do our best to make arrangements to allow the overnight camping and provide staff on-site.
Is Trailpass required even though there are no trails?
Yes. Trailpass is just the name of the company and is required by anyone operating an ATV or dirtbike on our property during non-race times.
Do you allow ATVs on the motocross track?
Yes, we do allow race quads. WE DO NOT ALLOW 4WD ATVs! This tears up the track.
Can we ride the BMX track whenever we want?
The BMX track is also open during the week for practice. It is closed during the day on Tuesdays for track prep for gate practice Tuesday nights and is also closed the day before a race. If you want to come out and practice, please make sure you call ahead of time to confirm there is no work being done on the track and that the track is in good condition. The BMX track is more sensitive to the elements than the MX track so on some days when the MX track is in good shape, the BMX track may not be and vice versa.

Do you accept credit cards or checks?
Yes we accept credit cards, we take everything except American Express. We do not accept checks for payment of anything other than gate entry fees on race weekends. We prefer cash at the gate, but will accept check. We do not however accept credit card at the gate.
Does MX practice still run during a BMX race or vice versa?
We will still run MX practice during BMX race weekends. The BMX track has a seperate parking area for bmx that is roped off if needed and we ask if the BMX is having an event that MX patrons refrain from parking in the BMX lot. We do not always allow BMX practice during MX races for a few reasons, 1. we don't have the extra staff for the bmx track during a mx race 2. there tends to be traffic issues/gate entrance issues for those not racing mx and just want bmx practice. There are certain weekends where we do have both going on. Please check out the bmx calendar for events that will also be occurring during mx events and vice versa.
